Fall Fest – To kick off the fall season and celebrates the return of our fabulous seasonal residents, this free family friendly event will be held on Saturday, October 5 at The Plaza Down Under on the Riverwalk in Jupiter. This year’s event is themed after the Mexican fall holiday – Day of the Dead and will feature a mariachi band, performances by Mexican folk dancers, local food vendors, a fiesta area with wine and beer, and a kids carnival area with bounce houses and a petting zoo. Join in the fun 12:00-5:00pm with free parking at the Harbourside Parking garages or at the marina parking garage. 

 

Big Taste of Martin County – This premier food and wine festival is a signature fundraising event for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Palm Beach and Martin Counties. On Tuesday, October 10the community will come together in Stuart for an evening of fun, food, wine, craft beer, music, and more! Over 30 local restaurants serve their best culinary samples while competing to be the “best” in Martin County across 7 different categories. Boo at the Zoo – Now in its 21st year, Palm Beach Zoo’s not-so-scary Halloween tradition returns. The Zoo provides a safe and fun trick-or-treat environment for children of all ages during the last two weekends in October starting on the 18th with character meet and greets, costume contests, wild prizes, kids DJ/dance parties, and more! Sponsor contributions have brought in over 125,000 pieces of wildlife friendly candy that comes from manufacturers who belong to the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) or follow comparable sustainability practices which help to protect against threats to Malayan tigers and wildlife. For more info:  https://bit.ly/2m0yKGw 

 

Oktoberfest – For the last 45 years, the American-German Club of the Palm Beaches hosts its traditional Oktoberfest on the second and third weekend of October. Kicking off Friday, October 11attendees will dine on authentic meals of bratwurst and schnitzel; sip imported and domestic beers, schnapps, 30 different types of liquor; and listen to entertainment by two original Oktoberfest bands direct from Germany.
