Best Local Events in March

February 22, 2023

Palm Beach International Boat Show – Find all things nautical, from mega yachts to maritime swag, at one of America’s premier yachting events. The Palm Beach International Show runs Thursday, March 23 – Saturday, March 26.  The event showcases more than a billion dollars’ worth of boats, yachts, and accessories from the world’s leading manufacturers. Stroll the gorgeous waterfront along Flagler Drive while taking in the ‘mega’ sights. For tickets and more info:  www.pbboatshow.com

Turtle Fest – Loggerhead Marinelife Center will host its 18th Annual TurtleFest on Saturday, March 18 from 10:00-5:00 pm.  Focused on promoting conservation, TurtleFest is a fun-filled day of close up encounters with endangered and local species of native loggerheads, green and leatherback turtles. Listen to great music, see captivating art and discover a place where it’s cool to be green. Admission to the event is free to everyone!

MLB Spring Training – Let’s play ball! Check out some of the top teams in the MLB right here in Palm Beach! Abacoa in Jupiter is home to the Miami Marlins and St. Louis Cardinals, and you’ll find the Washington Nationals and Houston Astros in West Palm Beach. Get tickets for a game to see your favorite teams, check out their calendar of special events, and get there early for batting practice. It’s a great experience for everyone!

St. Patrick’s Day Festivities

With St. Patrick’s Day just a couple weeks away, there’s plenty of places you can celebrate this festive holiday! Here are a couple of my favorites!

Downtown Abacoa Block Party

  • Get your green gear out in Jupiter for Abacoa’s annual Block Party on Friday, March 17 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm! You’ll find live music, activities, and vendors, along with food and drink specials at the various restaurants and shops along Town Center Drive. Enjoy live music from a tribute band of the most iconic Irish rock band – U2!

Delray Beach Parade & Festival

Now in its 53rd year, the city of Delray will provide free fun-filled entertainment for all ages on Saturday, March 11. The parade starts at noon, and the Festival will be held from 1:00pm to 7:00pm at Old School Square with live music food trucks, vendors and more! For more info: www.stpatsdelray.com
