If you’re looking for a place to escape (from the comfort of your own couch), the Palm Beaches has several virtual experiences for you to enjoy!

Loggerhead Marinelife Center – Offering daily virtual classrooms, the Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach has so much to offer! You will learn about some of the most fascinating topics focused on sea turtles, rehabilitation, and ocean conservation. You can also download activity sheets, get online resources, and take interactive quizzes on each module.  Learn more:  https://marinelife.org/homelearn/

Henry Morrison Flagler Museum:  Although the Museum is open to the public with limited operations and hours, you can explore many of the rooms within the Museum. A guided audio tour is provided for virtual viewers that speaks to the historic events and persons of the time.  Learn more: https://flaglermuseum.us/visiting/virtual-tours

South Florida Science Center and Aquarium: Although the doors are now open, the Center in West Palm Beach will continue virtual programs for both kids and adults! This includes a mix of live science shows, Future Scientist Storytime for early learners, Aquarium programs, and DIY-at-home science demos. Learn more: https://www.sfsciencecenter.org/virtual

Dry Tortugas National Park – Originally named by Ponce de León in 1513, the Dry Tortugas is a cluster of seven islands seventy miles west of Key West. Composed of coral reefs, shoals and sand, the Dry Tortugas is a popular destination that may be a bit harder to get to right now. But you can explore the park and even swim underwater with their virtual tour. Visit: https://bit.ly/DryTortugasVT

Kravis Center At Home – It’s still intermission, but the show must go on at the Kravis Center! Check out the theater’s line-up of curated concerts, talks, performances and arts education events to entertain and inspire you!  You can learn more about the digital stage here: https://www.kravis.org/athome/

Palm Beach Zoo – Over the past few months, the Zoo has put together a massive amount of content on their website and social media platforms to educate and entertain its followers. Live events are scheduled weekly and you can find the calendar here: https://www.palmbeachzoo.org/activities

Lion Country Safari – Although it’s not virtual, I wanted to include that Lion Country Safari’s drive-thru experience is back open! Your family can safely drive from Florida into the heart of Africa with zebras, ostrich, antelope and even lions roaming just outside your windows! Reduced rates are available now at: https://www.lioncountrysafari.com/
